    Experience Møns Klint from its most spectacular side on an exclusive guided tour along the UNESCO World Heritage site. We paddle close to the majestic chalk cliffs, offering you a unique and breathtaking perspective on one of Denmark's greatest natural wonders.

Intro Course

Get comfortable with SUP with an intro course. The course requires no prior knowledge and is suitable for anyone who wants a good introduction to water activities. The course takes place in calm surroundings, so you can learn the following:

Private Course

Do you want to give your family or group of friends an unforgettable experience on the water? Then a private SUP course is the perfect activity! Everyone is welcome here – regardless of age and experience – and we tailor the course completely to your wishes. You can choose anything from an intro course, fun activities on the water, to a relaxing trip, where an experienced instructor ensures that safety is top notch. With many years of experience with both children, adults and older paddlers, we can guarantee a fantastic experience for anyone who is curious about SUP and wants to share a memorable time with family or friends.

Guided SUP Tour at Møns Klint

Glide silently across the turquoise waters along the dramatic coastline of Møns Klint and experience the iconic white chalk cliffs from a truly unique perspective. This guided SUP tour combines tranquillity, adventure, and spectacular scenery, far away from the busy walking trails above.

The tour lasts approximately 3 hours and covers around 7 km along the coastline. All necessary equipment is included, and throughout the experience you will be accompanied by an experienced guide, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and memorable adventure.

The tour is weather-dependent, and our instructor carefully assesses wind, current, and sea conditions to ensure the safest and best possible experience. For this reason, it is important that you remain flexible regarding the departure time so we can choose the optimal conditions on the day. Safety is our highest priority, and participants must be confident swimmers and in good physical condition.

The tour can only be booked by email enquiry and will be confirmed the day before departure. A minimum of four participants is required for the tour to take place. If conditions do not allow the tour to be conducted safely, you may be offered an alternative guided experience along the coast of Møn.

FAQ

Do I need a SUP course?

We always recommend taking a SUP course before renting or buying your own equipment. Here are some questions to ask yourself before heading out on the water alone:

  • Can I keep my balance on the board, even on smaller waves?
  • Do I know how to paddle into a headwind without any problems?
  • Do I know how to get on the board in deep water?
  • Do I know what weather is safe and unsafe for SUP?
  • Am I ready to take 100% responsibility for myself and my equipment?
  • Do I know what to do if I drift away from shore?
  • Do I know how to do a "power turn"?
  • Do I know how to take SUP to the next level?

If these questions make you feel unsure, you should sign up for our introductory or private course. This will make your experience safer, so you can pursue your passion for the sport with peace of mind!

Who can join?

The only requirement to participate in our intro SUP course is that you can swim at least 200 meters and that you are at least 12 years old.

For families with children under 12, we recommend booking a private course, as there is no minimum age requirement here. However, children must still be able to swim at least 200 meters.

If you would like to join the Møns Klint Guided tour, we recommend that you are in good physical shape and ready to paddle for a couple of hours on the water. The age limit here is 16 years. If you wish to book this tour with family or friends, this can be arranged via email inquiry.

SUP is a fantastic sport that can be enjoyed solo, as a couple, or in groups and families. Let's go!

What should I bring to the course?

  • Swimwear
  • We recommend bringing a hat or sunglasses - always use a string on your glasses.
  • Sunscreen!
  • Drinking water.

Møn Surf provides all SUP and safety equipment. Our students are required to wear a life jacket.

Be ready to get wet and have fun!

What if it's windy or raining?

Safety is always our first priority and we do not run courses if there is a storm, lightning or thunder. That said, it doesn’t matter if it’s drizzling a little – you’ll get wet regardless 😉.

Klintholm Port offers shelter inside the harbor when the wind comes from most directions, and is therefore an optimal place to conduct courses.

If you wish to move the course to another day when the weather is more favorable, we will do our best to accommodate this. Your experience is our top priority.

Where can I buy equipment after completing the course?

Finally, ask your instructor for recommendations for equipment.

There can be advantages to buying used equipment, but it can also be a risky and expensive experience.
